RED SOX RUN LINE
For Sunday play the Red Sox on the Run Line, as they'll demolish the Orioles after the historic night for Clay Buchholz.
And off last night's no-hitter, the O's have now lost 10 of their last 11 games thanks to a putrid .253 batting average and a horrendous 9.71 ERA.
Now they send Daniel Cabrera to the hill, and he's riding in on a personal five-game losing streak against the BoSox, who are trying to fend off the surging Yankees. It gets worse, for Cabrera, who's 1-7 with an 8.39 ERA in nine career starts against the boys from Beantown, and that includes a 0-2 mark and 10.05 ERA in three starts inside Fenway Park.
Oh yes, and even worse: over his last five starts against Boston, the right-hander has surrendered 24 runs and 27 hits in 23 frames.
Do I really need to go on about this Run Line … I don't think so.
